We've loved the Adidas A - ZX range here at Dassleresales - okay so some of the designs are a little crazy, but that's what it's all about right? This week is all about the ZX as four new models have been added from the collection, including one of our favourites, the ZX 9000 Yucatan.
Moc ZX 9000
One of the standouts of the whole collection is this 'Y' pair, which has been inspired by the Yucatan peninsula. The trainer has used traditional design features such as the Moccasin style upper and a 'weaved' appearance in the heel. A true collectors item and one with a big back story too.
Bright yellow Torsion
The first of two pairs of ZX 5000 added this week is the 'T' for Torsion. These come with a very bright yellow upper and black trim. The upper material is slightly different too, with a super strong Kevlar material used. Celebrating the original Torsion bar used in the midsole of all ZX Torsion pairs.
Jacquard patterned ZX 5000
The second of the ZX 5000 is the 'V', for Vieux Lyon. This pair celebrates the French town of Vieux Lyon, which is known for being the home of the jacquard fabric. Revolutionary in it's day for having the pattern woven into the fabric rather than printed or stamped, Adidas have done a fantastic job creating a pair to celebrate the town.
And finally.. a bit of football
They really did think of everything for the A-ZX range, as even a football club got a collaboration project. Juventus Torino were given the nod, and the ZX 6000 colourway matches perfectly with the famous white and black home strip. The upper is also made of a fantastic Italian leather, which really adds a touch of quality to the design.
