Happy New Year to one and all, and now let the fun begin. Our first batch of new additions this month is from the standout collection of last year, the adidas Spezial X CP Company anniversary pack. We've restocked the flagship model from the collection, the CP Manchester, as well as both colourways of Wimberly SPZL. The Wimberly are available in extremely limited quantities and sizes. If CP Company isn't your thing then we've also had a small restock of Moston Super SPZL from the first Decade collection.
The icon returns: adidas CP Manchester
2002, 2010, 2016 and now 2024. These are the years of release for the adidas Manchester in it's original form; a light blue upper and solar red stripes to harness the colours of both the main Manchester football teams. This updated CP Company version has a nylon upper, suede overlays and zig-zag stripe design similar to that used on the previous adidas X CP Company collaboration models.
A new model for Spezial, the Wimberly
Although much of the Decade pack releases have been celebrating old work from the Spezial team, there has been space to produce some new models such as these adidas Wimberly SPZL. The shoe is based on a vintage model of adidas Universal, and has been released in two colourways within the CP Company collaboration range.
The two models of Wimberly feature two different upper materials, the brown version has a suede upper and the sand colourway has a smooth leather with suede overlays. Although the leather version is closer in style to the original Universal, the brown design has arguably been more popular with Spezial collectors.
And finally.. more Moston
To move away from the CP Company collection but still keeping with adidas Spezial, the Moston Super SPZL have been restocked in a few sizes. The Moston Super were part of the first Spezial collection of 2024, so are still included in the 'Decade Pack' tribute to ten years of adidas Spezial. The shoe itself is based around the adidas Arctic, with an adapted Country OG midsole.
