With Mother's Day around the corner we thought now was a great time to release a whole new range of women's market models, which unlike some weeks are actually available in smaller sizes. As you might expect, the main shoe in focus is the Handball Spezial, which has cemented itself as a firm favourite among women over the last couple of years.
Extra Spezial in Cord
Adidas aren't regulars when it comes to cord trainers, but maybe they should start to be as whenever they're in production they're always a popular alternative to suede or leather. In mid-2024 they released a Handball Spezial W trilogy in cord, which were available in three colours with off-white stripes and a gum midsole. We're stocking two of the three.
Along with the mineral green and sandy pink models we've managed to get hold of, there was also a burgundy coloured pair which was even more sought after than these two. Although primarily for the women's market, they were available in bigger sizes as well but in limited quantities.
From Cord to Velvet
The materials are most unorthodox this week as alongside the cord Handball Spezial is a velvet edition of the Gazelle Indoor, another silhouette that has gained a popular reputation with women. This vibrant purple and orange version was part of a velvet trilogy, but for some unknown reason this model didn't get a full UK release so is a bit harder to source.
Back to some suede
We're back in familiar territory now with our next new model of Handball Spezial, which has a full suede upper including the tongue. This is the only new addition this week that has some bigger size availability, but also some smaller ones as well. The colourway features a peach coloured upper and blue stripes, which are definitely pale blue and not white.
And finally.. even more Handball!
Our final addition this week is a model we added to the site a few weeks ago, but has now had a big restock. The Handball Spezial W Pink/Blue now has availability from a 3.5 right up to 10.5, with not many gaps in between. Part of a collection with tri-coloured stripes, the pink model has stood out to be the most popular of the bunch.
